Two 70-200 Shots

A quick trip to the local park down the road: the fog had isolated the trees quite nicely, so I was drawn to take a shot, which I converted to B&W. In some ways I wish the hedge wasn’t there, but that was the shot, and it’s come out OK.

However, this wasn’t the only comp I came back with: as I was packing up I noticed the frosted detail, colour, and texture in the back of the little sign on the gate on the way in, so I shot that too. Good decision to take the 70-200: didn’t have to mess about with changing lenses in the cold; great versatility. Both shots taken tripod-mounted (using L-bracket, not silly lens-foot, which I don’t have anyway).
