Another Shield Bug

Another attempt at the ‘Meet Your Neighbours’ style with another Sloe Shield Bug (Dolycus baccarum). This guy wasn’t quite so eager to run around, so I attempted a short handheld stack.  Still not perfect (there’s a frame or two missing from the stack about 3/4 of the way down), but it’s an interesting technique.

Again, I’m happy to try this technique for illustrational purposes, to show what bugs I have at home.  But I’m not particularly keen on using this for field use, where I want context and habitat in the shot, at least in a blurred form of background.  Green is good!
