Ben Lawers NNR, Scotland

A trip up to Ben Lawers did not, in the end, produce the fabled Mountain Ringlet butterfly, but a good tramp around through the grass and sphagnum moss above the reservoir did turn up some nice flora, including abundant Mountain Yellow Saxifrage (Saxifraga aizoides), and the carnivorous plants Drosera rotundifolia and Pinguicula vulgaris.
