2. Rosy Bonnet & Beech Leaves

One from just the other week.  Of all my fungi shots of recent weeks, this is the one that pops best because of the water droplet, which adds that extra little touch, and through its refraction allows you to see some of the forest context.  Yes, I had to mask it in from another frame because it just dropped off during the stacking, since it was raining at the time, but it was there while I was photographing it!  Another NSN Editor’s Pick.
