8. Snowbound Crocus

This shot from back in March, and our extended snowy winter.  Another one awarded an Editor’s Pick on Naturescapes.net




First try with the rainsleeve – cheap and worked well, though liveview focusing in a snow storm was always going to be tricky!
  The Novoflex rack came in useful – I took a series of incremental frames at ground-level and chose the one with the sharpest focus on the left flower.
