A couple of shots from the weekend at my parents’ Cactus Nursery. For both shots the plants were brought into the conservatory to allow more room to set up the shot. With these kinds of flowers it’s always a challenge to get a composition that works without too much effort, and to get a good exposure with the highly reflective petals. A polarizer and careful choice of white-balance is key.
