The rarest of the Orchids in flower that I found were as follows:

Ophrys regis-ferdinandii: found at only two sites, one of which I was pleased to find by myself

Ophrys leochroma: only one site

Limodorum abortivum: found at only one site, though probably common in suitable pinewood habitat

Serapias vomeracea: only one site

Orchis simia: only one site, single plant in bud

Ophrys herae: only one site, though reputably quite common in suitable areas in a good season

Ophrys reinholdii: only one site
